Hey,Red H man, I have two 1944 H's and I have both styles of seat. The pipe-toolbox is what is on our 1939M so...they were optional it would appear. I see in the H manual that you could order different springs for the spring type seat depending how large you were...I'd need the heavy duty one!!!Mike in Exeter Ontario

Michael, IH only carries the heavy duty one these days. You will sit so high that you will need an oxygen mask!

Red, does that oxygen mask come with the new spring??? I sit so low now I can just see over the steering wheel! I'm going to have to go on a diet or buy a new spring!!!!!1
