140 serial # help

Can anyone run this # and give year. List here at yt shows as 76, but hard to believe they built over 10,000 in last year of production.

my book shows 1978 63111 to 79 64544 hope this helps

dont know how many they built in the last year as they only give the starting number of 64544 for 1979 is no last number. they probably dont have 10,000 tractors for all 4 years of production.

Thanks to both of you. YT serial cuts off at 1975. I don't have it, btw. Just stopped to look at it this evening. Looked great from road and 35'. Then got close and saw low prep repaint and brand new tires all around. Full set of cultivators with fresh dirt on shovels.
