I ordered new pistons and sleeves for my Grandfathers old Super A. When they came in, instead of having the fire crater tops on the pistons, they came with a rectangular shaped stepped head piston. Is it ok to install this piston into my tractor? I am concerned that the top is going to hit the head/valves.

One thought I would have would be to just for kicks slip a wrist pin halfway into an old piston and the other half into one of the new pistons and see if there is any noticable difference in the height of the new one compare to the oild one.
Maybe post a picture of what they look like setting that way?
