I tried the archives but couldn't find an answer so here I am. I have a friend that is going to pickup a 656 hydro with a stuck motor and I'm just wanting to be sure it is able to be towed onto the trailer or if there is a disconnect somewhere so it will roll. I'm more of a Ford guy and well acquainted with the Select O Speeds and the disconnect they have so they can be rolled around. I know the hydros are a completely different animal and my only experience with anything similar are lawnmowers and they have a release to move them when the engine isn't running. Thanks in advance! depends which hydro system he has. The most common is the forward revers handle is on the right side of the dash, the high, neutral, revers is on the right. Put the high low in neutral and winch it on. BTW, the steering my not work at all, take a pipe to adjust the steering.

Be sure the low neutral high lever on right side is in neutral. Damage to hydro can happen. Don't ask me how I know

Thanks for the replies!! We got it loaded with no problems. The lever on the right side is rusted tight, won't move at all. We couldn't really read the decal on the left side anymore so we just guessed and put the handle in the middle where it can move from side to side. We could back right up to it and we just winched it on at a slow pace and all went good after we blocked the loader up and chained the 2pt blade up so it was off the ground also. Thanks again Greg NE
