350 help needed

Most fail to fire on 2 and 3 is caused by a blown head gasket between them. We can't help much without a question. what does no head ju=ob mean? Jim

check the compression and post. eliminates guessing. probably a blown head gasket between those cyl's. need more info than that. old overhaul? new overhaul? why no head job?

Did you adjust the valve lash after installing the head? If the valves were nearing zero lash before you pulled it
apart and the replacement head gasket was thinner it could very likely be holding the valves off their seats due
to less than zero lash.

Good compression at all 4 cylinders. Spark plugs at 2and 3 seem to be dry but have spark. Didn't grind vavles because it's
hard to find anyone in my location to to do so.

Looking forward from rear of distributor. In clockwise direction is the next wire from number one spark plug going to number 3?

Does it run on the other two or just hit some? 2 and three are on different intake runners so if fuel is getting to 1 and 4 it should get on to 2 and 3. Camshaft wasn't removed, correct? Number one is firing on the compression stroke?

The intake manifold was wrapped.
I don't see how wrapping the intake manifold would have anything to do with the cylinders not firing. Never even heard of that. We used to wrap exhaust headers on race cars, but that was to minimize underhood heat.
