I removed the head of my F20 for a valve job. When I checked my f20 manuals I couldn't find the correct torque or sequence to reattach. Both manuals we very vague about the tightening the bolts. Only said to tighten equally(?). Whats a good torque for this head and does sequence matter? Thanks for any advice!

I have done several f-20's over the years and rule of thumb was always start nearest center of head and work clockwise out ward torque in stages up to 110 lbs. do not pull down all in one setting or gasket will crush improperly Hope this helps btw my last f20 developed a little over 70 horse on the dyno Good Luck
