Super A Sweep/Shovel Size

If you were going to set up a Super A with a full complement of shovels in the belly, what size would you use? Context is a diverse vegetable farm. This would be for preparing rough ground that has been farmed before, not cultivating crops.

Are the shanks adjustable free so you can adjust the pitch of the shovel so it can cut then what kind of soil do you have and is there cover and trash on the ground. The ground needs to be pretty clear or the shovels will just plug with trash. You are going to go over the ground several times in different patterns. Cultivators are not made to till soil but time and your shovels set they can sure mix up the soil.

A cultivator is NOT a tillage tool.Find other options or tillage/seedbed prep.Once the crop is planted, then put on appropriate shovels/sweeps to clean up rows.

What type of primary/secondary tillage tools do you have available to use?

A cultivator is a poor tillage tool at best and is best suited for what it was meant for.

If you do that you have a pretty good chance of bending your mounting arms ,and also breaking the cast cultivator mount itself.
