Have adjusted many for a variety of reasons.

Thanks for the reply. I remember there's an " inspection" cover on the underside but can't remember if it's where I can get to the pressure plate adjustment screws. I found the finger height should be 2.218" and the throw out should have 3/16" clearance.
Can the torque amplifier be adjusted from the top plate hole? Found that the fingers should be 9/16" and 3/16" throw out clearance. Thanks for your info, gregjo1948
 
Yes you can adjust the ta clutch through the the top cover. But, the only reason you would be
adjusting finger height is that things are worn badly and you are trying to steal some extra life
out of it.

Normal adjustments for throw out bearing clearance is done on all the external linkages. When you
get done adjusting the main clutch and ta clutch the ta should release just as far by depressing the
clutch pedal as it does when you pull the ta lever and still maintain your throwout bearing
clearances.
