I have a 1956 ih 300 utility with Armstrong 6.00 x16 sl front tires anyone know what I could put on that's wider without drastically changing the look, its not a field tractor any more more of all purpose.Thanks

7.50 is about as wide as I would go. A 4 or 5 rib design is also appropriate. Jim

Several discarded pickup and car tires could work and cost little.

A standard 6-bolt implement rim will fit so pretty much any size is fair game as long as you can find a rim with the right offset.

do you know if I can flip the factory wheel for more offset looks like its possible the tire that's on there is only about 2 inches from spindle.

The wider the tire the harder it will steer if no power steering. This is especially true with a loader on.

Remember any wider tire will likely be taller unless you get a 14" rim for a 14" low profile tire.
