A add on hydraulics

Does anyone recognize this hydraulic system? It leaks bad where the old gaskets went. Cutting new ones was very hard and unsuccessful. Liquid gasket was also unsuccessful. Do they make a hydraulic ?stop leak??

Hi Frank:

I have seen this advertised and on the shelf at TSC (Tractor Supply Co.).
Have never used it and can offer no opinions to it effectiveness.
Maybe someone else here can provide 1st hand knowledge of how good or bad it works.

take it apart take the old seals when you go to get new ones and you mite need a speedy sleeve if the journal has wear

It looks like a Chrysler car steering pump from about 1955ish. I think I would replace it with one from a medium duty truck with a much better (more tidy) mount. Jim

the spool valve is a char lynn. the hydraulic pump looks like an eaton.
