International 454 Diesel

Hey guys my 454 for diesel tractor has always worked great but this year the three point hitch won t lift unless I rev the engineOr play with the draft control levers any ideas

I have one of those too, my favorite of all my tractors and generally the most reliable. Lots of ideas about your situation: when did you last change the hydraulic filter? Or fluid?
Also, if there are little bits of crud in the system (like from a disintegrated parking brake band) and they get into certain places they can make the system less responsive. Your
hydraulic pump could be going bad, but I'd check for the simple things first.

I changed the fluid and filter when it started to mess up and it did not help i think my pump is fine besause my power steering works great

Common problem is a bit of dirt in the little hole in the unloading valve (under the seat). Remove it, blow it out with air, replace the O-rings, and see if that helps.
