After more than a week of chasing issues on this silly tractor my wife wandered into the barn this evening and made a few adjustments and its running about perfect! Where has she been??!! Little carb adjustment, little linkage adjustment and gapped the points. I dunno. Had me stumped.

Just funnin you.
Yes, Wifo is an excellent cook, also.
She has made all of our bread for over 45 years & makes the best chili & vegetable soup.

She's not too good on tractor repair.
Jim

Nothing like homemade bread. We bake 8-10 loaves a week......plus biscuits!

Brownie450, you ain't met my wife then. If I can't figure it out she can. And she can fix it too! And cook and bake. And easy on the eyes.

I can tell you from experience, mag point gaps are PICKY! Years ago, we were working on a cub that absolutely would not start. We went through everything, then finally checked the points to find they had been set at .020 instead of .013. Once we set it she fired right up.
