The coil for a Super MTA is a little shorter than a standard coil and also has the distributor wires hooking to one end and the coil wire to the other. In
addition to that it is a little shorter. I need one in 12 volt. Is there such an animal? Right now I have a standard 12 volt coil setting up on spacers to
get it to fit. What causes the problem is the addition of the hydraulic pump at the distributor. Ellis-

I guess you forget things over time. When I first changed my SMTA over to 12 v I used the stock cable with resister. When I switched it to EI I got one of their coils. It doesn't seem to have an interference problem with hydraulic pump. I have the IH pump maybe yours is M&W know that was an opition. Now I'm curious to go look at it and see what I did.
