350U 504U Main Clutch

Have an issue with the main clutch on both 350U and 504U.
Doesn't seem to have enough pedal travel. Next to no free pedal and the clutch will release only at the very bottom of travel.
If clutch free travel is adjusted to the prescribed 7/8" to 1-1/4", the clutch will not release.

When the pedal is up, there is about 3/4" between the clutch pedal arm and the foot rest. The pedal up stop is at the brake housing.
I could maybe get about another 3/4" of pedal travel if I were to heat and bend the pedal arm. But, really don't want to do that.
Does the long pedal arm bend over time?
I don't know of any adjustment when it's an issue of pedal travel.

Has anyone experienced this and found a solution?

Was clutch work done on both of these tractors recently? If so, I would be suspicious of the installation.

It's either that or both clutches are slap wore out.

The clutch pedals don't bend over time. They're cast. They'd snap before they bend.

Several things to ask you:
As noted by Barnyard, was clutch or linkage work done?
Do they have TAs and are they working correctly?
When starting out in road gear, TA pulled back, does the tractor start to move with very little pedal movement from the bottom of travel (where you said it needed to be to release)

A bent clutch driven disk will create that issue
A dry pilot bearing in the crankshaft to clutch shaft will do it
A clutch shaft with worn splines can allow disk drag.
