Farmall A fan HELP

The fan on my tractor wobbled awful. A friend gave me the insides of a good one he had in the parts pile. When I got home and took mine apart it was totally different. Mine was like the top one in the 1st picture. His was like bottom one. The parts do not interchange. So he is sending me the rest of the housing. My question part #9 the impeller, put it in like pictured in manual? Or as shown in photo? Found photo on an IH forum elsewhere

Just get a new one for around 70 they have sealed,bearings and do not need any lube. Those original ones are great unless they were never oiled an to get parts for the old ones is very pricey so just get a new one.

The picture is correct. I looked at a couple parts manuals, and it is backward in them - which is rather odd (and very confusing as well!)
