300 utility tractors

Well yes and no_On the 300U you had to use a toplink for the fast hitch plow.So in a sense made it a 3 point hitch.

No. not a 'true' 3 point. All that was available was a 2 point fast hitch. However, there were 'attatchments' that would 'convert' to a crude 3 point of sorts. Both factory and aftermarket were available.

The 300 and 350 utility had a fast hitch version of a 3 point. It actually used a top link for some fast hitch implements. This was only on the regular utility tractors though, the rowcrops and the 350 hi-utility did not have this.
Here is a picture of an IH plow for these tractors with the top link point shown.

I have a 300 utility and a 350 hi-utility I could take pictures of but it is dark outside right now.

IH offered a attachment called a industrial 3 point hitch for 340 and 460 internationals that could of ended up on a 300 U but don't think they were officially offered until 1959.

The 300U typically came with a provision for a use of a toplink along with the IH fast hitch, making it somewhat of a hybrid system. The IH row-crop tractors of that era did not have a provision for a toplink, but it could be added (I've done so on my 450). By using fast hitch prongs plus a toplink, most 3-point implements can be used with a 300U.
