Farmall A clutch housing cover gasket (felt)

Hey guys I'm starting to reassemble 1944 Farmall A and need to locate gasket that is installed on clutch cover just aft of oil pan on bell housing. The old
one appeared to be felt. Cannot find it any of the big tractor parts houses. Any help appreciated.

If you want to keep it "original", FP Smith shows a felt in stock, #57575D, phone 800-558-7228.

Or, use some foam rubber weatherstripping from a hardware store or building center.

Other choices, you may be able to find thick enough felt at a hobby/craft store to cut your own, or McMaster will have it, for sure. https://www.mcmaster.com/felt
 
For those kind of things we use old fuel oil furnace filters separate a section then separate one of those about the right thickness then with your fingers in the hole or over a shaft/pin in a vice start working it out to the size of your shaft. I think I did that for a front spindle on our 1466 to keep dirt out of it.
