Early 806 block

Have a D361, serial# 14375. My question is does it has the holes for the oiling jets? I m confident from research the 6 are not currently there, but would have the provisions for installing?

Thanks in advance

My understanding was they were not put in the 806 but were in the 1206 which has the same engine only turboed. Obviously has more hp also. The oilers for the piston was to cool them for the extra heat and lubrication from the turbo. T.V. will probably be along and tell us the straight poop on this.

I have often wandered that also, Kristen Gall or someone had said they are drilled but plugged from the factory, for the 806 block!

Well lets put it this way , all the ones i have been in all had 1 piston oiler jet , Now on the turbo engines eacch piston has 2 for added piston cooling When the 806 came out and so did the new TD 15's and THEY were the turboed 361's and they had squarters . I was there when the first 806 hit the Buckeye state and the first public showing ,and the man i worked for BOUGHT IT and that was one thing we all were told is that it had piston oil cooling jets . Also the man that bought that 806 was the owner of a vary large construction company or i should say THREE large construction companys and was on and upgraqde of eq2uipment and was buying new equipment like a drunken sailor on leave and was on the Christmas card mailing list with ALL equipment Mfg. Along with the 806 for his 640 acre HOBBY farm three new TD 15's were arriving along with everything else and according to the salesman that was the difference between the 806 and the TD 15's was the torbo and cooling jet Now not only did he get a new 806 the following weekend my uncle bought the next one to hit a dealership . So i have been around them since NEW . Non turbo engijnes have one jet per hole and turbo has 2 .

Well were still not sure if the the 806 block was drilled and tapped for the 2 nd set, mostly because not that many blocks have been taken apart, but some body told they have plugs in the 2nd set,but i have had my 806 since 67, put a turbo on it in 71,no sign of trouble yet, so it's safe to say the 2nd set isn't needed !

I was about 16 when 1206 came out. Believe the ads said
twin oil jet cooled pistons. Now an 806 ad could have said
pistons cooled by oil jets. As in six total.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Again, just trying to find out if at a certain block serial number had them or had them drilled with ball bearings inserted.
