Replacement 49 Farmall Cub Radiators Any good? Problems?

Got a real nice 49 Cub that is just about perfect mechanically and looks real good. Has a very tiny leak that makes a wispy tiny bit of steam. Can't really see where the hole is. Might as well fix it one way or the other. Options are recore original and looks like two different aftermarket replacements, one real cheap about 8 lbs, the other near $200at 11 lbs. Recore the original I know the fan shroud will fit and the rad car will be straight. Aftermarket??? I hate paper thin fins. Has anyone used the aftermarket ones? Did the fan shroud and everything else line up ok? Fins have some meat? Cap straight? I will be using this tractor for many tasks Summer and winter. Mowing and cultivating, Snow plowing and grading.
 
I should add since I am already rebuilding the entire electrical system tractor is already apart. Now is the time to do this, I could get away with the pepper trick, but sure hate to overheat this ol gal, she runs so sweet!
 
If there is a repair shop in your area get it repaired the old ones are much heavier then the new ones from the land of all most right. I had mine fixed about 5 years ago and it hasn't leaked a drop since Randy

hard core cubbers say if its a trailer queen you can go the cheap route. if your going to use the tractors to go with the ones made in Ireland by Clancy radiators. I did use the Clancy and im real satisfied with it.
 
there is rad shops that specialize in this type of work and can give you the proper advise. we cant see the leak or where it is, if its a seam leak or a core leak.
