Super c hydraulic pump.

I have removed the hydraulic pump 355007R92. It pumps fluid but probably needs rebuilt. I can not get this to split into halves.

1. Anyone recognize the make? 2. Can these be rebuilt?

Pump is a PESCO.

If it's not leaking at the case joint, there isn't much reason to take it apart, as I don't believe any of the internal parts are available as service parts.

As the bushings wear a little, the gears cut into the body, and even if the bushings were to be replaced, there would be added space between the gear tooth tips and the body, making the pump lose efficiency, or, with enough wear, not pump at all.

If you want to take it apart for a look-see, I'd hold the back body in a gloved hand, and TAP on the mounting ears with a soft blow hammer, alternating between one ear and the other, that should coax it apart without damage.

If I pop it apart, I assume I can put back together? Do I need to purchase another pesto? Or Is a Thompson better? Seems like all I Can find is over $420. Suggestion?

I have no input on a replacement pump.

For sure they're not cheap!

Are both makes currently available new?

Bob Are you sure it is a PESCO pump. From my manual, the drawing looks like a Thompson. Two people other have told me Pesco.

Can you go back to look at Picture again

(quoted from post at 14:01:52 01/07/20) was there a problem with the pump , before you removed it?

I just bought the tractor and the Slow touch hydraulics did not function. So I started reading any Yesterday Tractor Super C forums till I dropped. I noticed that sometime, if the pump leaks fluid, a person will remove the drive gear. So being clever, I unbolted the pump: NO GEAR. I drained the hydraulic fluid and it looked like a clean quart. Now is it the pump bad? or is the hydraulic unit locked up? The large internal screen had lots of gunk on it.

I watch external link video of a girl who I wished were my daughter. She tore down a hydraulic pump to check for wear and to rebuild. She said that most of them were the same. I could not see anyway to split mine in half. I filled it with oil and turned the shaft by hand. Oil moved out with no pressure. NEXT STEPS other than sipping a small glass of wine?

there is no gear on the pump. it fits on the shaft. i presume that you removed it.
there are 2 bolts (actually 4 bolts in the pump. 2 have to be removed to remove the pump from the tractor) the other 2 have to be removed to split the pump.

remove the woodruff key, from the shaft, before splitting the pump

bump the pump gently, with a small hammer and perhaps the pump will open enough to insert a flat screw driver and separate the pump.

if it s leaking fluid into the crankcase it can be rebuilt with a new o-ring set from cnh and a speedy sleeve. Iirc when I got my o-ring set it included o-rings for both Pesci and Thompson

Your local case New Holland realer. If I Remember right the kit was around $50. The speedy sleeve from Napa was around the same
