Farmall Super A Distributor Identification

I am trying to order a tune-up kit for my brother's Super A. How can I ID the kind of distributor? It's not a mag, at least; I know that much.

The up right type is the Delco distributed. The horizontal type
is the ihc type if u have the ihc type which most likely is then
these points fit all tractors from 1940 to 1957 or when ever the
sixty series came out?. Keep it simple ?

May have a different coil on it, but a IH looks like this. At NAPA points CS1600, condenser IH200, rotor, IH300, cap, IH350.
Couple of years since I bought several to last me a long time so could be changed by now. They sold some cheaper but the cap has
better contacts and no problem with that number condenser or points so far.

If the distributor was ever replaced, it could also have a Prestolite distributor on it. My 53 Super A has a Prestolite and I remember the IH dealer installing it on there sometime in the 80's.
This is what the cap on Prestolite looks like.

keep the old condenser the new ones can sometimes be a problem an your old one will last many many yrs I would not even take the old one out just change points if they are bad.

I second that I have not changed a condenser in over a decade in any of my tractors and they keep on running just fine
