Gene or anyone else happen to know what the original inside diameter is for the exhaust lift cylinder is?? For some reason I think it is 7 inches but want to be sure. It has some deeper pitting in it so my cousin is taking it to work to hone it clean then they will re plate it to bring it back to correct size industrial chroming she will be smooth as butter.

Also Gene if your reading are you still making new leather seals for it? If so let me know and I'll give you a call

Thanks Joe

It may be just me but I really don't think the inside diameter is all that critical. Seems you could just use a tape measure to see what it is. It's not like we are talking high pressure hydraulics here! Or a cylinder of a diesel engine where a few thousands would make a difference. That leather cup would probably not care if it was ten thousandths bigger or smaller than the original size.
