I happen to stumble upon a Farmall F20 thats ready for the scrap heap.
I am wondering if the steel wheels from it will fit on a farmall H?
I want to put the wheels off this F20 on my 1944 H.

No,No,and No. Neither front or rear. As was said axles and hubs are completely different.Look at the two closely. It will be pretty obvious. In fact,I don't think any parts between the two will interchange. Except maybe the steering wheel.

Are you asking about just the rims with the hub and spokes removed? Check and see if they are 36" or 38",
if they are 36" no.

If you're talking baout the front wheels, and F20 will swap with an M but not an H. they had smaller diameter spindles on an H

Even if the wheels don't fit,buy it,save it anyway. Repower it with a 350 chevy. Or anything... It will be a fun project. Not too expencive either.I did something similar to an F-12 . Repowered it with a 2.8Litre V6 from a '84broncoII.Fun to build, fun to tractor pull.Makes lots of noise, throws lots of dirt. The crowd loves it.

Check the serial # stamped on top of the left frame rail behind the clutch housing, to see if it a Narrow tread version, they had an "N" suffix. If number is not visible measure rear tread width. The Narrow treads are very desirable and it would be worth saving!!
