I was asking the value of a Farmall C the other day. It brought $1650 today at auction

I firmly believe the price was low. Go to any store for a new Handy "real" 20 HP high torque hydraulic equipped yard device. Nope. It the perfect tractor to backup 4 wheel farm wagons against the barn. Jim

My brother bought one about 10 years ago,at a auction, a 50 C with a wide front, nothing major went wrong with,it's served him well, i think that's exactly what he paid !!

It's a good looker, even equipped with fenders and a fruit jar precleaner. I got a Super C with the fast hitch, they're a handy fun little tractor.

Bought a 1951 or 52 Farmall C, 12v conversion, older new paint job and decalls, NF, 3 pt conversion, good tires rear, new front. Runs nice. Paid I think $1825. I talked myself into a "C" to replace my Cub as my lawn mower. Am hoping to get a pull behind or 3 pt mower deck as to keep the tractor available for raking hay or other chores. I looked for a long time. Most I thought were good candidates were starting in the $1500 range. This one looks nice and had the 3 pt so I was willing to pay a little more? I think the OP did just fine with pricing if there are no surprises or major problems to fix right away? Most things being subjective. All this magnifies for me the mistake I made getting rid of my old Farmall H which was the most bullet proof pc of equipment I have owned. Good on gas, dirt simple and always reliable. Hoping the C takes me to the grave in similar fashion.
Regards, John.

should have installed the rear weights correctly then might have got 1700.00. lol. looks decent though.

(quoted from post at 14:50:32 12/08/19) Just curious - what is wrong with the wheel weights?
The weights should be installed 90* of what they are so the axle clamp bolts are accessible. Otherwise it doesn't really matter.

They need to be turned a quarter turn so you are able to get to the bolts that lock the wheel to the axle so you can adjust the tire width. Not a big deal to correct it.

Glad some one asked as I was not seeing the problem. But to my credit the only Farmall I have really worked on or around is my BN!

I got original tires on my B also, there Goodyears,i did put a sharp spike thru one this summer, i think there 8 plys,It's nice to have a matched set.

i paid $2400 for mine with 2 bottom plow, sickle bar mower and arps tracks. I wanted the arps bad.

they are a half track to give you more traction in the snow. They go around the rear tires and there is an idler wheel mounted half way between the front and rears.
