cub drawbar

When I attach my grader blade I lose my rear drawbar which I need too. What is the solution to this? I would like to hear from some cub owners. As always thank's for your comments

they made a "substitute drawbar" for just this its a little flimsy looking to me but its factory

I assume you are placing the blade in the mid-mount position where you have to turn the drawbar forward in order to mount the blade. If so, the easiest thing to do is buy another drawbar and bolt it on in the normal position. Trust me, it will bolt right up.

To use the blade belly mounted, the drawbar uses the rear mounts, just turned forward and floated. the farmallcub dot com forum has dimensions for the substitute drawbar you can see once you have made a post or two.

Thanks guys. I already have a couple more cubs, just like to make things a little more convenient. for me they are just toys but I enjoy tinkering with them.

john is 100% right if you mount the drawbar in the forward holes its up almost against the front tires ya cant angle the blade I had forgot about that until john jogged my memory

I made a substitute drawbar out of some heavy flat stock per the farmallcub.com prints and it works well
