Does anyone know what happened to the company Trax 4. They handled parts for Elwood mfwd front ends talked to a woman named Barb years ago she was very knowledgeable on the front ends. I've tried the number and says it was disconnected does anyone know what ever became of the company or of Barb??

Barbara was Don Jones secretary at Elwood Mfg, Don was the chief engineer. I got a very nice email from Barb probably 20 years ago after I posted on the RPM forum how much I enjoyed working with Elwood getting axles built and shipped to Farmall back from 1979 to 1981, and enjoyed working with Rick King, who was the plant supervisor by day, and Chief of Police of Elwood by night. Very possible those people are no longer alive.

There are parts sources around for the Elwood FWA axles. Leaman Tractor Parts in Willow Street PA. is the place I'd try first.
