806 gas block for 282 diesel?

I got a 806 gas bare block , and also a 560
diesel. I was putting sleeves in the diesel
with the real small lip type sleeves and
realized the 806 block has the same small c-
bore. JW if the whole block is
interchangable if someone needed a block for
diesel?

As far as I know the 806 gas were all sleeveless so there would not be a counter bore at all. I would double check the numbers, it may be a 706 block.

The C301 and D301 blocks had no sleeves when new, but COULD have been machined for sleeves if needed. They came with 3 13/16 inch bore, and piston oversize of .020, .040, and .060 available.

This one certainly appears to have had sleeves with the counter bore and no ring wear ridge. I'll measure parent bore later.
