Does anyone here have a picture of Gene B's (Gene Bender) step for a B? Narrow or wide, or both? I would like to buy one for my B, but Gene doesn't know how to post pictures, and I would like to see one before I commit to buying one. Thanks.

So no pictures of Gene Bender's step? I know there "were" members here who used his step as I found his name on this site doing a search for his step. Unfortunately there were no pictures on my google search, even here. He is offering his step for $35 plus shipping, but I would like a picture of his step before I commit. He offered to send me one with no obligation of payment if I didn't like it, but I would feel obligated to send payment, even if I didn't like his design.

that looks to be mounted towards the front of tractor so it should not affect the use of the drawbar.

That might be true but if it is it could still effect the mounting of a A-16 sickle bar mower

I'll look and let you know tomorrow, supposedly the bumps release mud easier.

Does that get in the way of say the draw bar or say an A-16 sickle bar mower

Does not get in the way of the rear facing hitch, (draw bar), would be in the way for the Woods L-59 mower mount, probably in the way of the sickle mower mount also.

There was one pictured in Red Power Magazine, less than a year ago,The Tractor Doctor article wrote about it, i think, all it was a 4 in piece of channel iron bolted to the back drawbar and then rested on the that other piece of iron, [crosspiece]and had it so it couldn't move sideways, came out below the platform, with a maybe a 10in square piece of skidproof flat iron, and it look very practical to me, but i never got it done either, but next year i plan on making one too!
