IH B-275 glow plug questions

I've been reading YT discussions from several years back that talk about replacing the original glow plug system on an IH B-275 with "fast heat" glow plugs like used on a Mercedes 190. I would like to do that on my IH B-275, but have questions. Am wondering where to buy these glow plugs and what to ask for. I understand they need to be wired in parallel. Can I use the original glow plug switch? What size wire should I use? I plan to put an indicator light in the dash where the resistor for the old system is now. The discussions mention a relay. What size relay is needed and where should it be in the wiring scheme?
Thanks for any help.

Bosch Duraterm glowplugs #80035 work GREAT.

You can use the original switch less the indicator, or use a relay.

They draw 12 - 15 Amps individually, so #14 wire for the runs to each GP is adequate, from the junction of those 4 wires to the switch some #10 will work.

If you use a relay, it would need to be capable of 60 Amps.

I used a GM 6.2 diesel glowplug controller on my "424", which has it's own relay, and it works GREAT.

Switch the key "ON", wait for the GP's to automatically cycle, then hit the starter, and it starts INSTANTLY.

I have previously posted photos of the setup, but can't immediately find the thread.

If you are interested, I could post a photo and a diagram, mite take a day or two, tho.

Bob is right, I did the conversion to my 364 and it is like a whole different tractor when starting. Like he said it starts instantly. Best investment you can make. IMO

Yes, I would very much appreciate seeing a photo and diagram. When ever is convenient for you to do that. I also have a B-414 which I would probably want to convert too. I assume it takes the same glow plug as the B-275?

used red mn, Thanks so much for posting Bob's link. That really helps. Thanks to Bob also. Now the next question - Where can I buy these Bosch dura therm 80035 glow plugs? I called our 4 local parts houses today, and they all said that number was out of stock and they couldn't get any. CarQuest did think they could cross it to an Autolite (which they didn't recommend) or to a Motocraft. Any thoughts on the Motocraft?? Amazon has one seller who has three Bosch 80035, but of course I need 4. Ebay looked like there are some there, but price seemed high when you add the shipping cost.

I used Bremi brand glowplugs and a glowplug relay for a 7.3 powerstroke when I redid the glowplugs for my B275. It made a world of difference in starting. Bremi are the cheapest glowplugs($14) I found find that would fit. Plus they are the pencil style and self regulating.

Any Ford 7.3 glow plugs should work fine, I ordered a set off Amazon, plus the tap. I wired them back to the stock glow plug push button / meter.
