300 transmission fluid question

I think this is correct but want to make sure. When you change and add transmission fluid to a 300 Farmall, there are two check plugs on left side of the tractor. Oil should come out both of these holes when it is full if you have a TA and independent PTO, correct? The owners manual says it holds about 7 gallons, but there is no reference on how to be sure the transmission and TA have the correct amount of oil.

The TA is separate and fills from a gravity trough and is not drained unless taken apart. The PTO is separate and filled separately. Jim

The owners manual said to drain the big plug between the wheels and also the small one up front just behind the bell housing. So that's what I did. Will it fill from the transmission filling?

The TA will not drain, so ignore it, it circulates oil as it runs using trans splash into a trough leading into the TA, then out of a hole back into the trans. The PTO needs new Hytran independently. Drain it and refill to level plug on left side. (not a lot of oil in there) Jim
