Just wanted to post a couple quick pictures of my super a I?m working on. I bought it at an auction as a parts tractor for another that I already had and ended up using it instead of the one I already had. Runs good, went through the transmission this summer to repair a damaged oiler gear and oil leaks, and now working on paint. I also have a 1942 A that I use in the garden for cultivating and then go back though with this tractor to side dress and hill dirt.

The transmission was a breeze, though I did have to completely disassemble it to get the oiler gear. You will need a engine hoist, floor jack, bottle jack, 6X6x16 cribbing, jack stands, hand tools. All the bearings are slip fit or around .001 interference fit and can be removed without the use of a press or puller. I took pictures of everything with my phone as I went which helped when putting it back together. Reused the bearings as they looked good and were smooth, but replaced all the seals and installed a speedi sleeve on the input shaft. I had a hard time finding the O-rings that go on the differenal caps, but was able to match some up. I have all the numbers recorded if anyone is interested.

I may be interested in the numbers. I have a Super A that has a loud bearing noise in the transmission in every gear except 4th (high) gear. Only makes the noise when the tractor is moving in the first three gears or if it is not moving but the PTO is engaged.
