They say the pump is obsolete no parts for it.

This is true. That is why most times you are money ahead to send it to someone who knows these pumps and can save them if possible. If you mess this one up it may be real hard to repair, or replace. I work on this style pump often. A stuck one isn't to bad. A broken one can be a nightmare. Al

Times two what Al said, no hard parts available for Bosch VA AR, BR, AND CR versions. Just last summer had a neighbor bring me one after he tore it down and broke some internal parts. Told him, sorry, I MIGHT have been able to save it if you would have left it alone. As grandpa used to say, LEAVE IT BE!!
