Group #1 battery

if you go on the net and do a search repair batteries you will find all sorts of information on how to refurbish them. I have found that some of these batteries you buy now do have fill holes but there small and the label across the batteries covers them up. I had a problem with my battery in my 960. was going to get a new one when I found those caps. when I removed them the water level was almost gone. I put some water from my dehumidifier in there to fill them up. put it on a battery maintainer at a trickle 3 amp charge. been couple years and still going strong. one can get a lot more from a battery that starts giving you problems by completely draining it, flush out all the particles and put fresh battery acid in them and trickle charge them back to full strength. i never use a higher amp except in emergency only case. I use those maintainers a lot and make sure my charging systems on the equipment is working properly. didn't use to be concerned so much but prices for batteries is ouch. my oldest battery in my skid loader is 9 years old and still going strong. good luck.
