Hydraulic pump on IH 300 utility

Hi, I?m trying to find a gasket and O-ring kit for my hydraulic pump on ih 300 utility. The pump is leaking where lines feed in bottom of pump and between pump and engine. My problem lies in matching up the numbers on pump to the correct seal/gasket kit. There are two sets of numbers on pump. One is a six digit number (042115) that is stamped on casting, the other is larger that is molded on casting (05-10135)with AA under it. I?ve searched these numbers and have been unsuccessful in finding manufacturer of pump. Any help is greatly appreciated

Matching the Orings to the original can be done from the measurements of the grooves (outer diameter, width of groove and depth) use hydraulic compatible rings and all is well. The seal will be either a lip seal, or an Oring. A lip seal with a speedy sleeve for the shaft diameter can be found at Motion Industries, or Kaman Bearing. Maybe even NAPA. The oring is harder to fix in that a speedy sleeve makes it difficult to fit a new Oring in the gap remaining. The housing groove might need to be deepened to fit. (guess) there is some pressure on the seal, but only intake side pressure. It is the design of the pump to bleed off shaft pressure back to thee intake side to keep from blowing the seal out the end. Leaking at the front of pump and steel plate attached to cover is a gasket that you can get. Even if the pump leaks out the shaft it would go in the crankcase with no pressure on the gasket. All pump types use the same O rings for the lines that I bought from case IH or whatever they call there self now last year. Have used ones out of O ring kits also. Dealer Should have the gasket also or you can make one.

Hoobers online site shows diagrams and lists part numbers for o rings on a 300 tractor . Not sure if same model but i would start there . Also lists dimensions on o rings . Of course be sure you buy o rings which are resistant to whatever fluid that system runs. Also shows gaskets, if needed .

Great info guys, I appreciate the help. I intend on working on pump next weekend and also check filter in reservoir . Trying to get tractor squared away for winter snow plowing

You might be able to see the filter from the fill hoole under the seat without removing the cast cover. Go there first!! Jim

Should the filter be clogged or collapsed, would that be a cause for the pump leaking? While tractor is running, leak is slow at front of pump, but when engine is shut off fluid leak is accelerated

So I checked the screen in hydraulic reservoir and it was collapsed and clogged with a bunch of slime. I was able to clean it up and get it back as close to original shape as possible. Now just need to solder it up a bit and reinstall.
