HELP! Farmall 434 needs remotes!!!

(quoted from post at 09:08:05 09/10/19) Hi, is this a UK built IH 434 Diesel tractor?
How many remotes do you require? 1 or 2 or more?
Do you require single or double acting remotes?

It is the UK tractor, I really only need one remote for a Haybine

Hi again, yes it is a true UK or Canadian 434, we had one just like it from 1969 thru 1980.
I see it had a loader on it at one time.

Options for 1 remote:
1) single action, 1 Hydraulic hose lift up and gravity down and 3pt locked out when remote is active? Cheap only hose and couplers required but can't use 3pt at same time.
2) Add an external hydraulic valve either single or double acting(2 hoses up and down pressure)? More expensive, require external hydraulic valve, hoses and couplers but will be active all the time.

Single Action would probably work good for the Haybine

Hi, nice looking 434.
The photo below is of a home made remote hydraulic outlet for an IH 434.
I was going to put a link to caseih.com parts that was the official CIH parts to put a remote hydraulic outlet on a 434.

Do you have an Operator's Manual for 434 that describes how to use the 3pt lever with the Isolator valve to operate a remote hydraulic outlet?

Thank you!!
I do not believe I have that manual, I can only find a service manual.
So that is just a pipe plug that I pull out and put a hydraulic line into?

Yes, it is a pipe plug, I can't recall if it is 1/2 or 3/4 inch pipe thread, install a hydraulic hose with Quick Coupler to match the Quick Coupler on your Haybine.

Now Operations is a bit more complicated, it is described in the Operator's Manual, I have the Operator's Manual in PDF format for B414 that is one generation older than 434.
It is in 5 sections of 20 MBytes each, I can email it to you if you provide an email address, otherwise I can post the instructions for using the 3pt lever and Isolator valve to operate a remote hydraulic
cylinder.

Hi, I have opened my email so you can send me your email address and I can email you the B414 Operator's Manual.
The major differences B414 vs 434 were sheet metal, 434 may have an alternator and be -VE ground, better brakes, larger disks brakes and a change to connection from pedal to brake actuator rod to give more
leverage therefore requiring less foot pressure on brake pedal.

See link for using a remote cylinder on B414/434 using 3pt lever.
