What IH motor used to power a 24" planner

What can you tell me about this IH motor ( my first IH) used to power a 24" planner made by Cordsman MFG ( 1900?)

It's a "power unit" for a #50 baler.

As the other guy said, the same basic engine as a Cub.

aAs noted a Cub engine based power unit. 12 horse power, plenty for a planer!! Jim

Here is the planner. I tried to lift it with my Ford, Couldn't lify it but even if I could i wouldn't get it over the sides. I but had to borrow a Case instead

Any idea of the year ? the serial number is in a different format then I've seen

I owned one like it, or close. Plain babit bearings, very clean and precise cuts. I guess 1890 to 1905 era. Chicago had several manufacturers of those style
planers. Very desirable Mine was sold to a wood worker in a town (or less) called Burdick Indiana. (moved the tools about 50 yards to a new shop). I am
happy it is in good hands. Jim
