Is there any way to tell what the hydraulic pump GPM (and brand of pump) of my late '60s 504U without physical inspection?
I want to get needed parts for filter/strainer maintenance prior to dismantling it, but the 17GPM units use a vastly different element.
I'd bet that it has been thirty-five years since the hydraulic system and fluid has received any attention (nearly zero hours in the last 30 though), but the tractor is receiving a loader assembly and associated valving/piping , ect. along with a major cleaning and a bunch of paint.
Also, how particular/important is the thickness of the selective gasket for the pump mounting flange?
