Yesterday I posted about my 300U just dying while brush hogging. Tractor had run fine the day before. It would restart and run only about 2 seconds then quit. Yesterday I checked all screens and had a flow out the plug in the carb. Today I took off just the bowl to the carb, removed the jet and adjusting screw. Ran carb cleaner through every thing, blowed it out and put it back on the tractor. Nothing was noticed as plugged and nothing was found in the bowl but the tractor runs fine now. The joy of running old tractors.
