What is the best way to remove the crankshaft pulley. There is a threaded hole in the pulley but no set screw. I have the seal and gasket kit from this site, it comes with a sleeve for the oil seal. Is that a press fit or does it have to be heated?

They are a heavy press fit. Heating them pretty radically, but short of turning blue may be needed. Doing it fast with oxy-acetylene will keep the crank cold. Pullers must use a bearing splitter for support of the pulley as it will break easily. The puller can push on a bolt screwed into the threads (best if it has a centering dimple drilled into the bolt.
