Super c or c engine

I have heard that some of the last Farmall c?s had a super c engine originally installed. Is there any truth to this?

if it has a super C engine casting number,it's possible,Gene Bender would know for sure, but i kinda doubt it,because the super's had a taller radiator!

Guy Fay must have found some information that at least 500 SC engines were installed in some 51 C tractors for testing.

The engines were dimensionally the same on the outside. Jim

Blocks were the same only difference would have been pistons and sleeves. The late Bs and Cs some had C blocks

Super C had a block casting number ending in 898. I forgot the 1st 3 didgets.

I know i got a super C engine in my B,but the engine casting number comes back as a super C block,356318R1, and another is 366204R3.
