Looking for advice on how to get the brake drum off the differential shaft. Set screw is frozen up good.

I had the same problem with my A different side. leave the set screw alone.
Clean off excess crud with some air. I used emery cloth ribbon about
two inches wide and gave drum a polish. Some new brake band and you are good to go.
O. K. it might not satisfy the correct police, but it will work. Better yet, pull the axle with drum
attached. It is on splines Do what you need, on a workbench. reinstall.

the outer portion of the brake drum. Kris

they can be a problem I have had to use the torch and then could remove then replaced the drum. I have some drums if you need one.

I cannot get the differential shaft out of the housing. The bearing can move out a little but is held by the brake drum. Can I PRESS the shaft through the bearing?
