Hello yesterday i stopped by to look at the 1066 again it has full flow of fuel to the
transfer pump on the back of the injection up but no flow on the out line , primer pump
had vacuum on it when I pulled it up so much that it pulled it back down , I pumped it a
dozen or more times not a drop came out on the out let side on the pump, can this pump be
worked on on the tractor ?? or dose the whole injection pump need to be removed ?? thanks

First, try this. Remove the inlet line to the supply pump, then use a pick or nail and see if the small nylon check valve is stuck in the cage from setting. It should lift off the seat easily about 1/4 inch, if not bump it loose with the tool. Replace the line and try the hand primer again, if fuel now comes out the outlet side port, you are done. If not, and primer still draws back down on it's own, gear pump assembly needs to come apart. There are four check valves, and one of the inner can shift too and cause the same primer action. I see both problems on pumps I get in for repair.
