Manifold on Farmall H

Recently bought a Stage 1 Super H at an estate auction. No history. Tractor is an All Fuel. Friend has given me a NOS gasoline manifold. What is the
consensus of this group as to replacing the all/fuel manifold. Significant power gain? Risk factors ? Thanks. Don

It will make no difference. If the heat riser valve is free, and working, the manifold might be worth more than 2X what a new Gas manifold would cost, but you would need to sell it. They are in demand for restorations, especially if they have the sheet metal cover. But replacing the cylinder head is what will improve power. Jim

Thanks for the reply. Who knows! The tractor has probably been overhauled at least once ?? Will be used for Tractor Rides/Drives and hayrides. Will probably leave it alone. Don
