International 2500 A backhoe/loader identification

Trying t find out what my backhoe year ect.is..it has a diesel motor....the hood says its a 2500 A...here is pic of ID tag.. Im not sure if the letter U following the number 6 is a U or a 0

A U the ends are higher than the curve in the O's.

From Big Don on redpower form,
The list that I have shows:

beginning # 502 built in 1971

746 1972

1631 1973

100768 1974

And then the 2500B started at 200001 in 1974
