Wiring diagram A

Need a wiring diagram for an A with a magneto. No wires on it at all right now. Can get a generator fairly cheap with voltage regulator. May go 6 volt. Haven't ruled out 12 volt with an alternator... Can someone post both diagrams? Thanks.

In the long run going with an alternator and 12 volts will be cheaper then a generator since you will be having to work on the generator system on and off a lot. Simple oil pressure switch to turn on the excite circuit is all you will need and the way to wire it is so simple even a cave man could do it after talking to me LOL

By the way the reason the phone did not get answered my wife said was you di not say any thing and she was getting her supper and I was out putting up the chickens

The battery is what did it for me.

The 6v batteries, special order, seemed to be all 24 month sliding warranty while the 12v automotive style batteries were 60 month sliding warranties. Referring to Interstate batteries with similar costs between the two.

I would go with the 12 volt with alternator too. I did mine so many years ago I can't recall, maybe 30 years. Have had to replace the 12 volt battery twice in all that time!
