Filling the Super A Fan Assy with oil

I have asked a similar question in the past.
The fan assembly on the Super A contains about a half cup of oil per the users manual that I have (1947 version).
To fill the fan assembly with oil there is a #10 screw that you remove to put the oil in. I tried to use a oil squirt can to fill it up, but I only managed fill the tube up where the screw goes so that no air would come out and no oil would go in.
What have you used to successfully fill the fan assembly?

I have not filled a fan hub. I have had to fill other such small oil systems and sometimes if you can put some in then rotate it will break the oil air resistance barrier and let some in then repeat. Might have to put plug in and out each time.
Wheel bearings on my semi trailers I have to do this or the oil does not flow through the outside bearing for quite sometime. Turning helps to work it through the outside bearing to the inside.

I use a plastic bottle that small electric motor oil ("turbine oil") came in originally, this has a long, small plastic tube small enough to pass inside the fan hub. NO problem then.

Or, GOOGLE "precision oiler".

It doesn't take much oil. Add oil, then turn fan so hole is "down" and allow oil to drip out to the level of the internal standpipe.

I never knew that any oil was needed there. As soon as it gets day light, I am going to see if my Super A needs oil. Most likely does after all these years.
