Farmall 300 Utility carb

Rebuilding the carb on my dad's 300U. I ordered a carb kit from McDonald carb. (They are great people by the way) I was wanting to replace the throttle shaft bushings but they are not in the kits they sell and I can only find the bushing for the bind hole side. Is it the same bushing for each side even though they have different part numbers?

Thanks

Blind hole side bushing will work in both side, BUT, you have to check the distance between the
mounting flange that comes from governor to the end of the bushing. I am thinking 5/8th inch but
measure. Then when installing new bushing make sure it is that dimension. If new bushing is
longer than one removed, dress it down to length.

Now, one other thing, the old M Farmalls had two holes in that governor of carburetor bushing.
That was a so called economizer circuit. I don't think your 300 has those holes or they may have
them but the internal passages have been plugged so no holes in bushing is necessary. Something
to check and they can be drilled into bushing if needed.

Also, the bushing needs to be reamed to .375 (memory again), so, only install one bushing at a
time so you can use old bushing to pilot reamer for accurate alignment. Leave blind side bushing
in to ream new installed bushing on governor side first.
