IH 606 rims

I recently purchased a 1968 IH 606 diesel. Due to the rear tires being loaded the rims are in bad shape. They are the adjustable rims. Was wondering if I could replace with regular rims,much cheaper,and also what other model rims would fit. Thanks.

If you change the disk in the center you can use whatever you like. If those are the 8 bolt center on the axle flange then probably most of the other 8 bolt disks would bolt on. This would allow you to use a tire size that would or could be cheaper than the size on there.

Thanks,think thats what I?m going to do. Really want to stick with the 28 inch and my tires are pretty good just the rims are shot.
