Paint - High Temp

So I have a Farmall H I'm doing misc work on and I've been repainting parts as I work on it.

Since IH seems to paint over 90% of their tractors red, this includes the engine parts. I was wondering where I should look for the correct color of red to resist the engine temps. (I wish they did it in matte black but part of why I like the Farmall lines is the IH red.)

Is this a dealership visit or should I go somewhere else?

Thanks

The exhaust manifold and exhaust outlet pipe running up thru the hood the muffler slips onto are the only
parts that will burn the red paint off. A Bar-B-Que black paint will last a little while on those two
parts before it burns off. The rest of the engine is O-K painted red. If your carburetor leaks at all
the paint will peel off, many guys leave them bare cast iron.

now why would the paint burn off the block? nothing special about any red block in internationals. its just the international #50 paint. the heat is in the exhaust manifold and those don't get painted anyhow. even if you did paint it with high heat paint it will still burn off in heavy loads.

Because the average engine block runs 195-220 degrees and the paint I buy says it withstands 200. I think these numbers are just a bit too close for my comfort.

The IH 2150 from Case-IH will not burn off of the engine block. I have experience with that. I also have experience with the farm store brands such as Van-Sickle. It will not burn off of the engine block either.
