Just finished a restoration on a international 856. I don?t think I have the hydraulic cooler lines hooked up right. I have the bottom line that?s comes out of the multi power connected to the top of cooler and and the top line that comes out of the multi power valve connected to the bottom line on the cooler. Also just had a new t/a put in, and once the tractor gets warmed up the t/a won?t go into direct drive, only stays in t/a mode. Need help??

We don't have any tractors with TA's so can't say much there. As for the other I guess I never paid much attention to which way they went just put them back on when I split them. 806 and 1466. Have not needed to split the 856 yet.

It does not make a difference which way the lines are on you have a pressure issue with the MCV or you could have a bad pump but you need to put gauges on it and see what your pressures are at
